Anyone a care sheet on this species?

And of course considering that they are venomous .... precautions...

I was just thinking, since I'm having a problem with little milsknakes escaping from their vivarium (along the gaps at the shifting doors). How small are hatchlings or juvenile red spitting boas?

Baby spitters will possibly be able to get out between the sliding glass. I would have someone who is more experienced with these snakes come and assess your caging before you proceed to get snakes which are this dangerous and for which we have no antivenom. If you get bitten and die then that's fine because you knew the risks but if a neighbour's kid gets killed by your escaped pet you will have a lot to answer for.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Thanks for the last part :-? ...

Assessing the cage might be a good idea. I had a baby milk snake escaping from it over the sliding doors. This was a gap that couldn't be immediately seen. Closed that one with prestik. It seems she still could get out via the gap between the sliding glasses. So I intent putting properly cut glass pieces there. Perhaps I should test it with water (the out-flow), when cleaning the caging.

No antivenom for red spitting cobras?
