Mainfood will always be rats (rodents anyway) but I always try to give my snakes diffrerent kind of pray items every once in a while just to have them eat everything I give them...

About bad smell... I cleaned once after a krait who had a cornsnake for dinner and that was probably the worst I ever been doing in my life... :smt078

This is very interesting but I think bugs has got it right, cobras are opportunistic cannibals and can act a bit excited after a feed while looking for more food. Why Zeek's Brown house snake always eats its shedding sounds even more bazaar?
