New Babies

New Babies

Postby werner » Sun Oct 02, 2011 7:18 pm

I am very excited to say my first baby monocle cobras were born this morning.
The mother is a 1.2m sunglow, and the proud daddy is a 1.6m normal Albino.
Will keep you posted on how it goes.

Very nice. Is there just the one?

They laid 13 eggs, it was very early in the season and i only saw the eggs late. Of the 13 only 5 looks well and as at this morning there was only 1 baby.
I am sure the other 4 will also hatch...or let me say i hope the other 4 will also hatch

Congrats Werner! These aren't bred too often locally. Did you consider cutting the other eggs?
