Hey Steve,

I cut the egg yesterday morning, and whatever was inside was still alive so I just left it:


I checked it again when I got home after work but it was no longer responding so I removed it.

I have no idea what happened here:(


So 16 out of 17 is the final score, I'm happy with that:)

Why one would suddenly be so deformed always baffles me. It cannot be temperature or even genetics. Possibly this one rolled around before you found all the eggs?
