Naja atra (Taiwan)

Postby herpaworld » Fri Aug 24, 2007 5:11 pm

our Naja atras from Taiwan was acquired 2006. the snakes came from Peter Zürcher, Austria. i hope we can breed this species also. but as most cobras, i still have to wait for probably 4 more years before this guys will mature.

Those are very brown in colour, I prefer the dark Atra, almost black.

its not a general rule, but the lighter ones are from taiwan - the darker morph is mostly found on the mainland of china (there are exemptions). i like them both. but that means nothing, because i like all cobras ;)
