That’s a stunner Sly! I love those West African Gaboon’s with the blue that you manage to find! Do you believe that this colouring is locality specific as most the one’s I’ve seen don’t seem to have as much blue as these do?

I just love all adders. This one is a real stunner!!

Although I have decided NEVER to keep any type of hots in my house. I still long to keep one or two of these beautiful creatures. But that will be one day in the future when I can keep my snakes on other premises.

I would also love to see more photo's from other members.

Thanks for sharing

Almost all the blue ones I have seen from Ghana have been females. The males usually have a white head. I doubt this is reliable as a sexing aid but could just be in the shipment I received.

Michael: i believe colouring would be locality specific and these blue / purple blushed ones are stunning. Would love to see others from other localities.

BV: i have also noted that the females tend to be more blue, very interesting. BV can you maybe work on sex to colour ratios from your shipment, if possible, would be nice to know, as well as seen their colours.

Sly this was years ago. I have not imported since being ripped off with 90 B. nasicornis and 80 B. rhinocerus that I paid for in advance. It was my 5th shipment from the same guy. I no longer deal with them.

BV: thats terrible, they probally rope people one buy at a time and then when you buy a large quantity and pay in trust they dissappear.

That's a very nice snake indeed. I do however prefer the ones with white or pink heads.
