I kept a pair a while ago. They are monsters... Hissing and puffing. I had them in an awesome natural enclosure. So finding them was a battle. Just chuck in a mouse and you find them WHAM!!
Now I lost the female for unknown reasons and then sold off the male... I miss them. They are awesome to just sit and look at.
Congrats on obtaining them. They are becoming more common in collections now adays. I have not heard of anyone being bitten by a captive specimen yet.
They deserve all the respect they get. Not for any keeper. I would just say change the substrate antman. Use a mulch that can handle humidity.
Dont bite, strike!!!!
Dont keep it real, keep it EXOTIC!!!
