Tailless whip scorpion

Postby Lillypod » Tue Dec 24, 2013 8:21 pm

A while back someone gave me some wild caught tailless whip scorps. All were female and I was looking for a male. Luckily (and without me knowing) my one female was gravid and a while later I noticed an egg sack. Here is the end results. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the female with the egg sac.

Babies the day they hatched (9 weeks after the discovery off the egg sac):

I'm a bit touch-and-go with tailless whip scorp breeding as there isn't really that much info to work with and most off the info differs as well. So far all went well. Let's hope I'll be able to produce some captive bred babies some day.

Good luck with them.

Those are pretty cool looking, especially the babies.

Let's see if you can produce a nice care sheet for these once you're successful with the captive breeding.

Good luck and well done.
