I wish I could have a collection of African snakes! So many mind blowing species on this continent the world hardly even knows exists!
What other species belonging to Genus's we find locally blow your mind?

That's definitely one of the more striking Egg Eaters I've seen.

The D. Atra is also pretty cool. What's their common name?

That is incredible. I am also into African species, they are the most amazing ! I am not a fan of exotics, so I do not count African species as exotics, haha.

The D. sahelensis is amazingly good looking. Do you have any info on them like length, where they occur etc?

I am just tickled to bits that Southern Africa has all these small Bitis species and the rest of Africa has four species B. rhinceros, B. nasicornis, B. worthingtoni and B. parviocular. There have to be more of them lurking somewhere.

I also believe there are far more Telescopus species lurking in Africa.
