Yeah I agree,but I would not recommend it for a 1st hot as its quite aggresive and has a nasty venom.Its not a difficult snake to keep but you have to practise with a hookstick before taking on these guys.Everything else about the habitats,behaviour and temper is 100% correct,they will survive in any set-up,these babies are extremely tough,I just love them

The agression is just the reason why i thi nk it is a good starter, EG- A white lip or copperhead is generally calm and I have personally seen some not happy campers in both species, so at least you know with your cottonmouth he is going to try nail you that is his style
