Addis Tubs

Hi guys

I've noticed that the Addis tubs, particularly the 26L tubs are not completely flat on the bottom,but rather are raised by about 1cm or so. Will this have a negative effect on the heat inside the tub or is it not really a problem ??

nope not a problem at all, i use these particular tubs myself and wood shavings as substrate and i find no problem with the heat at all.

What wood are the shavings from and where do you buy them from ??

I thinks the wood shavings are from oak and i buy them from a pet shop in pretoria east
