New long tub racks

New long tub racks

Postby Bushviper » Fri Aug 05, 2011 11:14 am

I have finally got the racks going for my long tubs. The dimensions of the tubs are 78 cm x 28 wide x 14 high so you cannot fit a rack of more than a single tub width through a door. You have two choices. Either build it in the room or make numerous racks.

I got 6 of these racks from Snakes4Africa and even had them delivered. Now that's service. I have put 3 racks in my snake room and other 3 racks went to Bushbaby.

You think an extra 60 cages will solve your problems but they dont really. These will help a lot though. I still need another two racks for baby stuff and for space maker tubs but they can wait a while. Thats another 47 cages which should then do it.

Mat I am putting adult carpet pythons and two year old retics in those tubs. All the male boas are going in there too. They have enough heat to keep them happy at the back and they can thermoregulate very well in these tubs because of the length.

I bet you Byron made those racks with his one good hand alone.

They look great!
