Book shelf into a rack system?

Hello,

Okay this is going to sound stupid, but if you have the right tub sizes, can you turn a book shelf into a rack system?
I do not have picture's of the shelf and no dimensions sorry.
But I was just wondering if I 'Snaked' the heat tape threw would I be able to do this?

Hay Scotty121, yes it would be possible to convert a book shelf into a snake rack with ease.

You just have to decide how YOU want to do it .

I have recently built a rack. You could convert a book shelf. I prefer building from scratch because then you can customize it to your needs. You could always make a snake shelf by just using tubs with their lids.

Here is a pic of the rack I built.

It has 3 levels of 26L tubs, 2 levels of 11L tubs and 5 levels of 4.5L tubs. There is also a small hatchling rack on top made of off cuts that has 9 1.8L tubs and 3 levels.

When converting the shelf into a rack make sure they is no gap between the tub and shelf, snakes can get out of the smallest places!

Thanks, But I already know this. If the tubs are to small I will keep the lids on. Thank you though.
