Need advice

Postby pytoxic » Sat Oct 19, 2013 6:05 pm

Hi guys

I am looking at building a rack. Just need to ask a few questions, what size tubs do I need for juve/adult ball pythons and where can I get them in PMB/Durban area. My idea is to buy the tubs then get a few pieces of wood cut a little bigger then the tubs then stack them like in this pic I made.

Then end up with this.

Then measure the height and width then cut those pieces to size. Not sure if I make sense

What do you guys think?

Thanks
Nic

20l tubs are a nice size, measure your tubs first and then design your rack to fit the tubs. Good luck, enjoy!

Try plastic warehouse or game. I got 26l tubs from game for R150 each.

PS, not sure if there is a plastic warehouse in that area, but Im sure there will be.

Thanks for the replies.
I have to decided not to make a rack as then you cannot really see your animals, so I am going to build something like this.

Just not as fancy  So I can see the animals I keep.
Just a quick question, Check here http://pythonregius.com/bumblebeeballpython-13m20.aspx. That's a bumblebee for about R3500 and if I am not mistaken they are nearly double the price here, why is this?

Thanks
Nic

That's an international site, their prices will vary from those of SA as we haven't bred some morphs that long or that imports make the prices higher. You cannot compare our prices to any of the other places as each will differ.

There's a huge difference between the American and South African market.

Importing isn't cheap, that "cheap" bumblebee would end up costing you way more than $350. It would end up costing you around the same about that they retail for here.

Thanks guys.
I see, so it is because America got into the whole morph thing before us and now they have more morphs?
Thanks again
