Postby Leos r gr8 » Wed Aug 08, 2007 5:56 pm

Hi people
I was just on a bird site and I found an incubator going really cheap, its for birds but is says in the add that it will work on reptiles, what do you think and has anyone got one of these? If you are unsure of what it is, search on google-images for "Grumbach incubators".If you think it will work I will buy it tomorrow

I just went to check it out. Its an impressive piece of equipment! You need to find out if you can stop it from turning the eggs. It works on a roller system.

Not really, its only R400 on the site I was on, I think the turning thing only works if the eggs are just sitting but I would have them in a tub, I think you can switch the turning function off

umm.. i think you confused. its says..

Trip connectors. Protect your incubator and brooders from lightning, power surges and low voltage. Has 10 second time delay feature and free warranty if incubator is damaged by lightning. Can also be used when using Generators, Invertors and UPS. R400 VAT incl. Courier fee R45.

Thats not for the actual incubator, i think thats just for the "trip connector" if you google a bit more you will notice they go for about R13 000
