Hi all,
i want to make a nice hide for one of my snakes out of wood offcuts i can buy. I know my woodworking skills but i dont know exactaly what woods i can use. I will when the hide is finished seal it with non toxic sealant.
Any advice?

Most woods marketed for human use are non-toxic unless they get wet/rot/miff/whatever and release odd compounds. If its sealed its even less of a worry, Id say go wild.
