Hey all!
Until recently I kept my leos in groups of 2 in 60 X 35 setups, but due to bullying I decided to separate them into their own individual setups. Initially I was planning on building some racks with decent sized tubs, but I have never been a fan of tubs and I like to keep my animals visible. So I ended up building "duplexes" of 37cm X 40cm X 25cm. To add a bit more of floor space I built second levels which almost doubles the floor space.
Just a frontal view of two of the setups stacked on each other.
The floors are tiles that I cut with a grinder, the pillars are just little tile blocks that I siliconed together and the tiles on the humidity boxes are also siliconed on.
My albino patternless female in her humidity box.
In hindsight I will probably make the next batch with even less hight, maybe 20cm instead of 25cm. But that is till next time! I still need to paint them (black with a bright green interior, had a very limited budget for this build. All in all everything worked out at about R70 per cage.
Hope you guys like.
