Im making a few syrafoam hides
So can I use any grout? And which would be the best brand to use?

Polyfilla would be fine. Just seal it afterwards

One other thing what's the best glue to use building a cage?

If you are using the glue on the Styrofoam No-more-nails works like a charm, or good old fashioned silicon is always good
Pros and cons... The no-more-nails has less of an odor than silicon and it dissipates quicker, but high humidity can destabilize no-more-nails and cause it to crumble, however this shouldn't happen if everything is well sealed!

For building the cage itself plain and simple cold glue (wood glue)? don't use without using nails / screws as the main support?
