Agkistrodon bilineatus

Postby Beno » Wed Mar 25, 2009 9:08 am

Hi all,I am new to this forum.I would like some info on keeping these bad beauties the setup and so on.Ive heard the behaviour is similar to the Copperhead.I know the venom is much more dangerous than their North American relatives.
Is there any adults or babies for sale at the moment?
Thanx

Graeme on this forum breeds them out annually. I don’t keep them myself. But from what I know husbandry is much the same as the other Agkistrodon sp. The venom of this species is also a very nasty tissue destroying mix.

I think the petshop down the road might still have some Cantils. If I go past there I will have a look. They were pretty pricey though.

Gavin also breeds them regularly and there might be some at the next expo.
