AFAIK, Guidos are endemic to the Northeastern United States. It'd be very rare to see one in Southern Africa. They're have very aggressive temperaments and also come in several hybrid morphs.

Fly larvae give's me goose bumps all over and my arch enemy is head lice, as I'm typing this I'm getting the willy s, never had them but Just the thought make's the hair in my neck stand up.

Big grasshoppers or locusts... the little ones are cute, they can walk all over me... the big ones (4cm+) creep me out completely! especially if they start hopping or flying in my direction... *shudder* If I know where they are, and if they are perched somewhere quietly, and are preferably facing away from me, that's fine... but if it makes a move in my direction I scarper.

They are lesser spotted in Gauteng but their distribution ranges all the way to Southern Gauteng. There main roaming grounds are the Glen Shopping center where they travel in packs in cars with too much bling and noise and are known to hang outside Total garages in Rosetenville drinking cheap alcoholic ciders. Approach with caution as they are a dangerous species when in packs. Other common names for them are "Ghays".

I just hate flying ants. Those ones that look like wasps.

Even if I know they can't sting, they still freak me out when they "mock-sting" when you pick them up.

And my gecko just loves them so clearly it will be a lifelong fear as I still haven't gotten over it.

Funny story

We were in bloem for the 14A water polo tournament at grey college. We went to a "waterfront" shopping center and of my "boer" mates saw a crab and pulled it out of the water. Then my mate next to me goes crazy and stamps and kills the thing. I was like "why man?" and he said "dude I hate crabs!".
Then he sees another one so he pulls it out and as my mate is about to stand on it and kill it, I half spear-tackle him and chuck the crab back in lol.
Was hilarious to see.

Ha ha im so scared of crabs that i cant eaven go close to them to eaven kill them . They must just stay away from me !!! Funny thing is i used to catch them when i was younger . Then i got my first snake and the rest is history .
