This really sucks !(H.gigas)

At one stage or the other, we all deal with a death. It is never nice losing a pet and thus, you can share your loss with the rest of us and share your memories so that they will be remembered.

Because I am a student and the fact that we did it at Onderstepoort,I got a little discount...

Usually its at least R700 for a procedure like that even with discount. Depends on how long the op takes.

The op. cost R 3400(I know it's a lot but I really loved this boy haha...)...

That's quite a bit more than I expected. It's a pity there is no money back guarantee if the snake didn’t pull through. I'm sure the abscess would have killed the snake eventually but I wonder how much longer he would have survived if nothing was done.

I think he would have gone for at least another month or so...
I got feedback from Dr.Elliot and the abscess was caused by 2 tipes of bacteria that usually occur in the snake's mouth...We just don't have any idea of how it got into the abscess ?
