Last year I got myself a young pair of East african Gaboons and I was a very proud owner, that much I can tell you.
Jee, I was chuffed with these snakes, they where my pride and joy.
I spent a fortune on a setup and a load on medical treatments because they weren't healthy at all when I got them but I nurtured them back to health.. Although the money lost isn't the issue, for those who know me should know I would do absolutely anything for my gaboons. they weren't just pets, they're part of my family.
story short.
This morning I woke up and as part of my routine, I checked on my babies and there I found my female gabby. She had her one fang logged in her spine,
immediately I took her out and helped her get the fang out(she was still living) but two hours later she lost the fight!
God alone knows why she was taken but I guess that just this cancer we all call life.
