Recently had the privelage of going flyfishing in the Richtersveld (Orange River) in the Northern Cape. It was the perfect oppurtunity to go and look for some of the local snake species and take a couple of pics. Unfortunatley we only found a couple of other critters! I am by no means an expert but as far as I know both the Millipede and the Scorpion are venomous and can inflict a painful bite/sting.
The Millipede was particulary impressive, he was almost 15cms long and had a very bad attitude, he reared up like a little cobra as we approached!
