Zeek the excuse that they have used in the past is that the Cape is a unique biom and that Leopard geckos can escape and become invasive. Now this is coming from somebody with a Phd in Herpetology. Granted he worked on amphibians but the ruling still stands.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Now i agree with your statement i would keep them without permission and if they found out about it i would ask for forgiveness :evil:

I doubt that there is actually a scientifically justified reason.
