My Browns are makin baby's...

So here is the story.... I caught my female BHS in July 2009 in our factory. She was 11cm and thin as a twig. Cold, dehidrated and hungry. I kept her cause i feared she would not make it. The intention was to nurse her back to health and then set her free....but she looked happy with us and we grew to fond of her. Then a friend said he's getting rid of hes snakes and that i could have he's male, a nice big one. I introduced them and she could not leave him alone. that was about a month ago. They have been mating ever since, i dont know much about theyr breeding habits....so dont know what to expect and when..

Good news to hear, they of course will mate all year round.
How big is she now?

Thanx Curt, will sure be checking it out. My female is 71cm and the male 1.3 m. They look very happy. Eat good, shed good....and yea....mate good. Like i said, dont know much about theyr breeding habits but will sure be learning as much as i can as fast as i can.

There is no way that your male is 1.3 metres in length. Have them both checked out and measured.

Yip, I would expect the figures to be the other way round.
71 for the male and 1.3 for the female.

Hey guys
Ok obviously i might have it wrong, i had my ''female'' sexed when ''she'' was 6 months old. The guy told me its a female. And again, when i got the ''male'', my friend told me its a male. I will have them probed and give feedback. But i am sure about the sizes, i messured them last night. Will post pictures. The big ''male'' is more than double the size of the ''female''.

Update on the sexes....
I had them sexed and measured, female 1.12m and very ''pregnant''. Male 71 cm. Will post pics as soon as pc is fixed, i am worring from phone in the meantime.
