Another russel bites the dust

Another russel bites the dust

Postby Mr S » Fri Feb 18, 2011 1:33 pm

Caught this female python just outside Nelspruit yesterday.

The regurge displayed the owner of the plot's jack russel

Tried my utmost to convince him to leave the snake and not disturb him as there was not much future left for the dog however alas i was forced to wrangle with the snake and out came the pooch. Sad as that must have taken 3 months of energy to subdue and swallow.

I would not have thought such a small python would be able to eat a Jack Russel. Its a pity the snake wasted all that energy and was not rewarded. Luckily you still saved the snake's life. Most people would have take out some form of revenge on the snake.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
