Morph yellow anaconda???

Hey guys,
I recently aquired a new yellow anaconda about two months ago. I was told that it was a possible green cross yellow, but was sceptical and checked it out on the internet after getting it(i didnt pay for it) . It is definitely not a green cross yellow but is unusually dark and looks rather different from your average yellow...any input on this...

The first pic is of my first yellow anaconda that has ''normal'' coloration and the second pic is of the new little guy...

I own three yellow anaconda's, and to me it just looks as if he is shedding...?
Thats all i can think of.

He shed two days before this photo... His sibling looks identical...That is his colouration. When he is approaching blue the markings are even darker and he almost looks black!!

It is possible that it can be a Marble Yellow Anaconda one of the morphs thats still new to yellow annies but never saw one in SA but I can stand corrected on this Realy nice annies I also got a few and they still my favourate snakes

That is unusually dark. Breed him to a sibling and see what happens.

As one of the comments on that thread says it seems the pic on there and on wikipedia is wrongly identified as a dark-spotted anaconda but is actually a yellow anaconda? So yellow anacondas get that dark?

Its not marble, as they have a neon yellow backround. Seems almost axanthic, but the side pattern is a little too distinguished. Is the other sibling that your friend has a female?

If its not a Eunectes deschauenseei then what is it?
I have done a lot of googleing and this was the closest I could get to jamsters anni.
Note that jamsters annie have a yellowish belly .

hey guys, been a while since i have been online... the parents of my little anni are very dark aswell, and with the dark colouration they also have very bright yellow bellies.

Beautiful yellow, remember people that anacondas are just like any snake, alot of variance, and many morphs. this is not a marbled. And the one in the wiki pic on Eunectes D. is a yellow in shed. (im the one who called the zoo and asked, so simple. :P) this yellow looks like it could be a "blue phase", a simple genetic abnormality. All snakes have them. like dinker ball pythons. "phases"/selective breeding are how many morphs are "made". You breed this snake and take all the bluest/discolored offspring and breed them again, repeat it, youll have some that are less blue, some more blue, some the same, take the more and breed again. outcrossing would help during this process, and keep going untill you have something widely different than the starting phase here and Ta da! new genetic morph. Axanthic ball pythons are good examples of phase effect. some are nice light grey, others are almost normal, you can selectively breed just the lighters over and over until you have a "line" of light axanthics, just as VPI has done. The same procces can be used here. What you have here, so it seems, is a new phase of yellow. and please. dont do what the guy with the Blue phase green anaconda did and drop off the map before doing all this. lol.

Hey guys haven't been on for ages well I'm keeping my little anni at work and he is doing great on display! He is now about 1.1m long and happily takes small to medium rats now his colour varies from a very dark blueish grey to yellow.
