Loved the expo. Can't wait for the next one! I only bought colourbrids, 3 milksnakes, 1 kingsnake and 1 leucistic ratsnake.

The expo was great! Always the best one of the year.

I picked up 3 Ball Pythons, few waterbowls and other supplies.

My girlfriend took a liking in the Jungle Jaguar Carpets, so I guess I'll be saving up for a pair.. :smt021

Nice one Divan, how did you attach the perches to the glass?

Thanks T. Good old marine silicon, stuff is really strong when you use enough of it and use it right.

I made the mistake of trying to use normal silicon once for my Amazon's perches failed miserably ;)

I already posted my purchases. But this funny I have to share

We went to the show early yesterday. Spend the morning browsing the stalls. I bought some spiders and left them on the stand as no live stock is permitted in the food court or casino. The family went to the Spur for late breakfast/early lunch. Those of you that know me, know that I have two young boys, so at the Spur they got balloons. Back at the expo doing the rounds and picking up my spiders we went past Raul's stand again. And I do love a nice boa. Standing at the edge of the stand speaking to Raul my youngest is next to me, he swings the balloon and next moment it hits the corner of a spider cage....BANG!! Everyone jumps up and is wide awake  The reaction from some of the other people at the stand was PRICELESS :D

We left Raul's stand quietly :smt005

lol SABoaman!! That's just evil!!

BV and I had an agreement, no more animals, except for 3 which we had booked.

At the show though, I picked up my Lemon Pastel Ball Python, a embroided towel for BV with a croc on it :p and a tiger rump Tarantula. It's so cool!!

I will upload pics when my feet hit the ground again.

I bought some new thermometers and a few heating pads... and oh yes... a BEAUTIFUL little baby Jungle carpet python! I now have my number one wish list snake! and am SOOOOoooooo happy with her, thanks to the guys from Petstop who had her, and handful of other snakes at their stall, she is in excellent condition, snappy and belligerent as any baby carpet python should be :-D

Pics to follow...

I don't think I will be posting pictures of my purchase from the show. With this i mean I just got some Superworms and once my Beardie has enjoyed them pictures would not be needed. I however would just like to thank everybody for the effort and a big :smt023 to the organizers.

To those people I met and finally had a chance to speak too you are also all great people. To the owner of the Spider Ball Python I got to handle and hold. I hope to have one of my own soon. (wife permitting).
