HN1 - koue bokkeveld/ cederberg... I'm just guessing West of the Karoo somewhere.

I would take that answer as correct - it is the road between Kouebokkeveld(R301) and the R355(tankwa).
There was a article in the Weg a few months ago about the road so I took themotorbike and made a nice sunday trip.
That was at the turn off to Kagga kamma private nature reserve.

I think anyone can add pics so the rest of us can try and figure out where it was taken.

NVlooi, before I forget again: The photos I posted ages ago are:
BS1) Vioolsdrift, NC
BS2) Winterberg, EC
BS3) Van Wyksvlei, NC
BS4) Lesotho & Lesotho
BS5) And Pofadder :)

As for my guesses on PV1 and PV2:
PV 1: Looks like Cape fold mountains, so my best guess is the Cedarberg.
PV 2 : There seem to be a few Phoenix palms down there, so I'd have to guess somewhere in Zululand, possibly near Ulundi / Hluhluwe?

First guess is correct! It is between Mazepa Bay and Kob Inn resorts, in the Transkei (Wild Coast). Someone else with photos?

I was in Sossusvei LOOOOOOOONG ago, fantastic indeed! I remember some of the huge insects, I don't normally bother with insects, but those really intrigued me...

Yes, can some others also post please, this is an awesome thread and I believe less difficult to make a good guess than some might believe...
