Hi Guys,

Some updated pics of my ATBs:

Pic 1 & 2 pure yellow female and red male bought from Snakes4Africa, the red has changed colour dramatically, looking awesome, they are about 14 months old

Pic 3 Two year old yellow orange from Strictly Snakes, looking good, helluva attitude, hence the gloves, very nice snake though.

That last pic could just as easily have been one of these I have here. Virtually identical.

That reddish pink one is really strange. Who bred these snakes, and do you know what the parents looked like?

BV, I believe Snakes for Africa bred the first 2 and Strictly snakes bred the last snake.
Nice snakes, i especially like the reddish pink one!

Hi BV, I got the 2 atb's from Byron, snakes 4 africa, I got them at the expo, the one that's looking a bit pink was his only red baby last year, if you look back to older posts around april 2010 you will see my post. It was a pure red, its very interesting to see the colour change. The pure yellow is from the same litter. The bigger yellow orange atb is 2 and bit years, got it from strictly snakes.

Is it normal to see such drastic colour changes ? Must say I'm happy to see the yellow girl has stayed a pure colour.

Hi Hoss, the pure red or yellow babies go for around R3,000 which is not that expensive when compared GTPs, the problem is not many guys have the pure colours, the only person I know who regularly breeds them is snakes for africa, by regularly I mean once a year.

Hi All,

2 pics of my male Amazon from Snakes4Africa, the male started off as a pure red (pictures earlier in the the thread above), quite an interesting change to now. He will be 3 in March 2013, will try and breed him with my pure yellow female for the 1st time in the 2013 season. The pure yellow is about to shed, will post some updated pics of her when she's done.
