Am very lucky to have this species because this its the most rarest i've ever had or perhaps in Indonesia. Got this from a friend while herping at Borneo, he said that he got this brown vipers that he sure that its a puniceus..lucky me he dont have a clue at all about this Borneensis or he will not gave to me:D

Just got few shot cos they always hidding and cant stand still.

Those vipers look very interesting. I am relocating to Philippines in January.
I will see if I can get some interesting vipers and post some nice pics.

From what I can see, your enclosures look amazing! What type of prey (and size) do you offer these snakes? They are beautiful. I wish you all the best with them :)

Absolutely awesome Viper.
Interesting to see that the entire genus Trimerusurus has basically been reinstated, with each genus desribed in 2004 (cryptelytrops, viridovipera ect.) now forming a sub genus. The species that originally remained Trimeresurus now fall within the sub genus Craspedocephalus, so technically as I understand it your animal is now Trimeresurus Craspedocephalus borneensis.
What ever they decide to call it it will remain an amazing animal.
