I'm pretty new to morphs myself,only been studying genetics for a short while now.
As far as I can tell,the pastel gene is only a colour morph. Google it and you will find some pictures of them.
There are members on this forum who have a wealth of knowledge on this topic.

Yeah thanx man, did googel pastal ball python but there are so many types. Lol.

What do I look out for and how do a person tell if it is a pastel.

Main reason I'm asking is that I bought a pair of ball pythons resently and some friends say she might be a pastel.

Will add some pics of her when I get home.
