Legislation in Cape Province (Stellenbosch) for Snakes

I have a 3 year old Ball Python, and soon I am going to Stellenbosch to study, currently living in Gauteng in Johannesburg, will I be able to take the snake? Or else what steps will have to be followed?

Get a transport permit to your new adres. You must then apply for a keeping permit. Holding thumbs for the move.

How hard is it to obtain a keeping permit?

You will need a import permit (To import into the western cape) and an export permit (To export it from gauteng). You will have to contact cape nature for your import permit and Gautengs nature conservation for your export permit.

The import permit cost R80, keeping permit R80, and then do not know export permit, and everything (appart from keeping permit) are forms you fill in
