Keeping Cobras Together

Hi guys

I know some cobras can be cannabils, but can u keep some cobras together in the same inclosure ?
And if so which ones ?

I have seen a guy keep 2 Cape Cobras and a Forest Cobra in one enclosure, but I cant say that thats a good thing to do.

Its best not to keep them together.

I have kept most of the South African cobras together before with minimal problems except while feeding in the same enclosure. As you have already said, cobras are well known to be cannibals and it is generally safer to house most snakes separately. Make sure they are similarly sized and obviously separate them for feeding and be observant when they are reintroduced after a feed.

I keep my two male Cape cobras together, and I haven't had any problems they have been in the same cage for years now.

You can just split them up when its feeding time.

They are fine together right up until they eat each other for absolutely no reason. I have seen this numerous times. Keep each one in its own cage.

At lawnwood snake sanctuary we keep 4 Cape cobra's together with no problems as long as you split them during feeding time like JKA said. they have been together for 7 years now. We also have 2 Snouted cobras together.

I have also seen a lot of cobras kept together with no hassels but I suppose you always taking a risk.

Think I will take BV advice and not take the risk when I get them.

First of all a daring job, but in my opinion we don't keep two or more cobras together, this 'll become injurious to them.am i right or wrong
