Help Needed with TC200 Thermostat!

Help Needed with TC200 Thermostat!

Postby Muskiet » Mon Aug 20, 2012 10:06 pm

Hi

I recently got the TC200 Thermostat. Looks like it was money well spent,if only I can get it to work.
This propably shounds stupid, but I somehow lost the instructions when I moved to my new home.

I got my day and night temps set but from there on I don't have a clue.

If someone with the same Thermostat can give me a hand,I would be very happy.

Thanks

Hey, I'll scan mine in and send it to you tomorrow, however I am also a bit confused even after reading it over a few times.
You can set the day/night temps, the day/night times, then there are two further timer settings and finely the actual time.
My question is were does the second timing function fit in? I don't actually need to use it, just curious.

That's also what I don't know.

Firstly you can set it on Heat or Cool.
Then your day temp en then your night temp.
Then you have a DL,that's the Temp difference.
Then a alarm Temp difference.
Then a L1 to and from and a L2 to and from.
Then the actual time.
Then the start time day temp and start time Night temp.

Really need to sort this out.

Thanks

DL - should be Daylight, the time of your daylight duration
L1/L2 - sounds like that is for powering your lights, so you can have a day light and a night light, or two day lights (one on all the time + a spot light for heat peaks during mid day or something)

Ask your supplier for a copy of the manual.
Found where it is imported from....

If you have no joy ask them.

Kev the second timer function is if you want to have 2 timings for the light - i.e. a basking lamp.
EG - you have the basking lamp on from 10:00 to 11:00 and then from 14:00 to 15:00 the rest of the time it is off.

You can either set the L1 and L2 times the same or - as per the instructions say - set the L2 values to the same value (00:00 & 00:00) and it will be ignored.

Hi all,
I bought one of these units. I got the manual, but I have no idea on how to connect it and to what. The adaptor has four wires; Yellow, Blue, Black and Blue. What on earth do I do with these??? I simply want my lights on a timer function and the Ceramic Heater on the thermostat function for day and night function. Will this work?
