Warnings?

Postby gekosin » Wed Oct 24, 2012 8:48 am

Could someone possibly explain how these work? I just noticed I'm sitting on 2... Do they ever actually go away?

The warning system is quite simple; three strikes and you get restricted, which means every post you make must first be approved by the admin before if displays.

But it's not a bottomless pit; a few users have been restricted and later, upon "cleaning up their game" they were again promoted to a normal member.

As far as I know, they do not go away, but we can see when the warning were issued, so if you had two warnings in 2006 and get another in 2012, of course that will be considered.

The warning system is not automated, so the admin actually have to manually restrict you, so there is consideration in each matter.

Yup, what westley said. I'm restricted and have been for a long time, the admins said they were going to change that. But all it is, is just keeping your wording right, such as other things.

Yip grammar, spelling and and your punctuation, and so on.

In the beginning I got a few warnings as well, Check what you wrote before you post and you will be ok.

I got my first warning bacause of a typo. I left the "e" off of love. Slightly ridiculous if you ask me! I understand the need for posts to be understandable, but surely the Admin can distinguish between bad writing and a typo.

If you go to your "User control panel" on the overview tab there is a section called "YOUR ACTIVITY" gives info on when you joined etc. The last line here is warning level and shows a number in '[]' I'm sure mine was on 2 but now seems to be on 1 :?

I feel as though I have improved. Could I please ask to be reviewed? I would really like to become a normal member again.

Ah ha, you have to honestly treat a member like that? Pathetic.

Thank you for the unrestriction, but you don't have to be cheeky with your last post.
