Reptile Passport.

Here is the place to discuss anything not related to reptiles and does not fall into any other catagories.

Reptile Passport.

Postby Uromastyx » Mon Nov 12, 2012 4:45 pm

I know horses must have passports for traveling in SA.
Why can't we get passports for our reptiles?
If we use rfid tags on our reptiles and use that rfid number on the passport,
we maybe able to relocate without haveing to apply for all that permits.

Will a reptile passport work or not?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

To me the whole permit thing (unless species is endangered or something) is stupid... And so many animals are "banned" or "blacklisted" and they want to add more to that list for some silly reason. Reptile passports are a great idea though.
