Moving to Eastern Cape

Hi All

I am moving to the Eastern Cape next year and would appreciate some advise :

1. Where can I find frozen mice, cockroaches and crickets as feeders for my reptiles (closest - in East London or the nearest town)?

2. Where can I find the nearest Vet/Reptile Health Expert? (Anyone to help should something go wrong)

3. Are there any clubs/associations? If not - who lives close-by with an interest in reptiles?

Hi Pieter, nice to hear you joining us in the EC. You more than welcome to give me a shout when you down here, I'm in East London and can help you. Remember we require permits for all reptiles down here and not many lizards or gecko species are allowed here either. There are some reptile clubs down here too.

There are a good number of vets around. There are also societies. We have a meeting every last tuesday of the month I think

Are you moving to East London? Most geckos and lizards aren't allowed so just check. What have u got that u want to bring?

I have a Corn Snake and Crested Gecko - would the gecko be allowed? I planned on sorting out the permits next week?
