Hey guys
Looking for an ID for this gorgeous girl. She was found in Bredasdorp, and is about 6-7cm long. I'm thinking possibly P. granulatus, but worried the tail is a little small...
Any ideas??

hy jo.
i dont think that it is a Parabuthus granulatus, becaus they have a small telson and a big meatsoma.
maybe i cold be a Parabuthus planicauda, or Parabuthus capensis...
but a correctly ID because of a photo is difficult.

Hi Alex
Think you're right about P. planicauda. Didn't even consider that one I'm pretty sure it's not P. capensis, because there were a few of those in the same area and they were much more orange in colour.
Thanx for the ID. The search for Granulatus continues!

Lexer is correct. Definitely P.planicauda and very close to giving birth, embryos are clearly visible.
