Hi all,

Just wanted to upload some pics of my giant ground gecko. Wanting to find a female so the collection might be able to grow at some stage.

Just had his cage misted.

Haha they are great little pets, awesome feeding response too! Good fun to watch them hunt.

It depends on where you live, I know KZN doesn't and from what I know neither does Gauteng but I'm not sure about Free State.

You should definitely get some though they are really interesting little geckos.

I actually think Gauteng does require permits for these, because they do qualify as indigenous.

If they require permits in Gauteng, they would also require permits in the Freestate.

Obviously wild caught won't get permits, but thats no real problem on the permit issue, as long as I can find a breeder with all the right permits so I can legally buy from him and thus receive a permit

I'm also looking for a female down here in the Western-Cape,been looking for a while now found a place in KZN that's getting me one at this moment.
It's just all the dam permits, think its gonna take some time LoL wish i could get me some down here.

But your boy is looking super cool how old is he about.
