Stunning photos!

Did you find it or is it in captivity?

These are great pictures. The eyes look so strange sitting on top of the head like that.

I'd also like to know if this is a wild specimen.

Are you still on the frozen lizard stock ;)
If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”

Despite the fact that these animals may or may not require local provincial keeping permits the authorities may still request legal export documentation from Namibia. Such export documents will not be have been issued that's certain. This directly questions the legal origins of the specimens posted. It is funny how the guys known for having permits for anything are often the culprits.

Ai, I thought someone would try stirring things up. I never imported these nor do I know the person that did.

Do you perhaps have the "legal export documentation" for all the exotics you (or anyone else in S.A for that matter) own Trevor ? The same will probably go for all the guys that keep Angolan corals or Angolan pythons then ?

I have no issues with people asking questions but honestly was this part needed "It is funny how the guys known for having permits for anything are often the culprits." ? Why do you think I have "permits for anything" ? I do have permits for all the indigenous animals that I keep (BV can confirm this as he needs to sign all my applications).

p.s Please reply via pm so others that want to enjoy the post can do so without a needless quarrel. Also feel free to call me if you have any further questions/issues... ;)

Louis.

Nice to see pics of these guys, they are unlike any other Bitis species with those frog eyes. Nice shots Louis!

Thanks guys ! They are by far the most entertaining and interesting Bitis I've worked with to date Warren.

@Fox Snake, If the males go on like this we might just get lucky...
