I'm not sure about hiring, but if it were my snake to be used, I would give it to you for free in trade for copies of the pictures.

Good luck, I am 100% sure you will find someone willing to help.

Any particular reason that you want a Burmese Python and not another species of Python, like a Retic, which I find prettier?

Wallas it is possible to hire someone to bring their python to a shoot. Often it depends what the theme is because we will not allow it for an "anti-exotic" advert or a "traditional healer" request either. If it is a Natal Rock python then the person would require a permit allowing it to be used for this purpose. Same if there is a risk that the animal may be stressed or injured during filming.

It is better to get someone who is well known to the Animal Anti Cruelty League because they might be requested to vouch for the person who is providing the animal especially of the footage will be used internationally. This is where the "No animals were harmed in the making of this production" disclaimer comes at the end of movies or on certain adverts.

You can PM if the people still want to go ahead with it.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
