Forum announcement - Moderator position up for grabs!

Postby froot » Tue Mar 26, 2013 4:24 pm

We are looking for another sucker for the punishing task of moderating our forums. It's a time consuming, thankless, unpaid job where you'll have to deal with thousands of members and a bucket load of 'unnecessary' posts every day on the largest reptile community website on the continent.
You will be required to show your face every day and be nice to these people and assist them even if you feel like killing them. On the top side you'll have access to to tools and sections that you've never seen before that give you the means to change the course of certain questionable member's experiences here, sometimes quite abruptly. You'll become more acquainted with the other suckers we have on board and hopefully learn from their mistakes.

Hopefully by putting it like that we won't be flooded with offerings. As of now if you want to volunteer for the job all you need to do is send myself, Mitton, or Westley a pm offering your time, expertise and services as a moderator and we'll take it into consideration. We will choose who we want from the submissions and if we don't choose you it could be either because you missed being chosen by the skin of your teeth or you did not send a pm, or sent it to Bushviper by mistake.

This offer will be open for as long as the process takes to complete itself.

I've noticed Bushsnake and Jakes' names have been taken away, and Tatiana hasn't been online since 2009. Are there only gonna be 3 moderators from now on?

Yay Welcome Michael. Hope you have hair on your teeth for the posts you will have to moderate.
