its quite an experience to have to read this and think (I was Like this as well)

I went off to uni.. left my Mom to take care of them.. had made promises to come handle them and clean cages.. Did a few times and got busy with life.. Sold them after the first 6 months.. I was reckless and stupid.. at least i learned from my mistakes.. I didnt have an Anaconda I had a few burms and some retics. Makes me sad thinking about it.. but so is Life.. I have vowed never to let it happen again.. So now I keep my Collection small and manageable.. Its scary how quick life can get in the way.. so try and plan ahead..

Hope all goes Well! RTB's are Great Snakes.. Although I prefer Pythons.

Not to be rude, but I disagree with the statement that annies are one of the worst pets.

I completely love mine!!! Yes I get tagged a lot but only when feeding because of their weak eye sight...
And I'm not talking about just mine, I've handled I few of my friends annies and its the same, docile and easy to handle.
:)
Still its no snake for a beginner!

Great collection of RTB any pic???

Update. Argentine turned out to be surinam hybrid with peach on belly. Sold both big males and bought a hypo male yearling. Still on phone. But I would really appreciate if A could email someone the pics and they could upload them for me?

Thank you so mich Wade! Truly appreciated! Buttercup I got latevlast year from Hunyani. Did many checks to ensure she was healthy, I am certain everybody has heard about the apparent IBD in their boa collection, she was fortunately never in contact with the other boas and was in her own cage. 1m aprox. Unknown breeder.

Bubbles I got middle last year from Jeff. 0.9m aprox.Unknown breeder.

Beasty I got a few weeks ago from Heidi, thanks so much! 0.7m aprox. Unkown breeder.

All 3 are yearlings.

Bubbles is 100% definitely NOT a Surinam hybrid.

Buttercup is a very nice.

The peach belly is prominent in many boas. We have them from fairly dark boas as well as light boas. Surinam crosses look way different.

Reynard, maybe you have confused the names.

Bubbles looks a lot like a Sonoran Boa hybrid.

Another update!

Beasty has been renamed to Dexter (Sticking to the cartoon theme) and is about 1.2m in length. He is now bigger than Bubbles. Who has seemed to stop growing.... She is just getting some bulk now! Buttercup has hit 1.6m and is still just as light.

Dexter was EXTREMELY nippy when I just got him but I am glad to say he is now completely relaxed! Will try post pics off my computer this afternoon. Or should I start a new topic?
