Hi All,

Just wanted to see if anyone has recently used reptile city to purchase items or stock?

I placed an order about 2 weeks ago and to date have not heard anything back from them apart from the system generated mails telling you not to pay till you receive an invoice.

Seems a bit odd?

I have very often made use of Reptile City without issues, even when I lived in the remote parts of the Northern Cape.

I can vouch for the good products, generally good service and reasonable prices.

Maybe pick up the phone and give them a call. I have never had issues calling them.

Ahhh, okay I only ever dealt with Ian so that might explain the changes.

My package was shipped today. Payment was 3 days ago.

Very weird, I was going to collect the products from them when I ordered. Tried calling but the number went straight to voice mail :?

Didnt have an issue. Received my order before the payment cleared. Only issue i had was with a very rude courier service. Ended up collecting my parcel at the depo in Isando

Just want to let people know my experience.

Ive just ordered a whole bunch of stuff (substrate, heating pad, reptile thermometers, etc). I paid yesterday. I have a lot of experience with online businesses so I just made a follow up call today to make sure everything was right (used the number on their website). Spoke to a lady who gave me a tracking number.

I check on the SAPO website that the items are with SAPO now. Im hoping SAPO are not useless this time. So, so far excellent pricing and support from Reptile City.

Yup, Im pretty sure 99% of the issues people are having with ReptileCity is our completely useless postal service. So on the 28th of Jan I told you that I had the tracking number and my package was at the Post office. It is the 5/2/2014 now and the package has not even left Johannesburg yet.

Im spitting feathers at our completely useless postal service. cANCer run postal service
