I dont know what to think of this!

Here is the place to discuss anything not related to reptiles and does not fall into any other catagories.

Anyone seen this video on youtube called "snake opens door" here is the link.

Not sure if this snake was placed on the door handle and made to fall or if it really opened it. Still don't know what to think >

I am pretty sure that was coincidental. The last time I heard of a python opening a door was when two retics escaped in Midrand and they were supposed to have opened the door themselves.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Personally I think the python opened the door by it self(no human interference), I observed with some of my constrictors, rubbing against glass to slide it open, or the moment there is a slight gap between the glass and the wood they try to force themselves through, I think it could be ventilation or "fresh air" that motivate them to explore and go upwards against the door the moment it's to high it slides sideways and it " coincidentally" fall on the door lever this opening it.
as long as you keep quiet, no one will notice that your dumb

Seriously all this just happened at the same time the camera was pointed at the door? The whole vid is clearly staged.

Something totally different but almost the same hahaha...
My retics I put outside the garage in the sun. She will slither all the way back the her cage. Ill open the sliding glass and she will get in her cage all by herself.
The first time I thought it was a a fluke but she does it every single time.
Dont bite, strike!!!!

Wow. That is really amazing I really enjoy these types of stories.I had a male boa that escaped from his cage about 6 times before I found how he was getting out. Every time he escaped he would always go hide in the same spot behind some books on a book shelf. At the end of the day it is only natural behaviour as we see many snakes residing and retreating in the same hole or hollow tree trunk for as long as years. So your snake simply just knows where home is. I assume this is also an indication that your snake feels secure and happy in its cage so your husbandry must be on point.
