My macklots python

Decided to take the little bugger out for a play session. He is absolutely against being handled, and 3/4 of the photos landed up being blurry shots of him trying to eat my camera. I still adore him though!

I love them, even with their strong temperament. How are your scrub python babies doing? I've been away for ages, so still trying to catch up. Yours looked absolutely gorgeous!

I am also very fond of Macklot's.

They have an "interesting" temperament and reach a nice manageable size.

Macklots can become as tame as any Burmese python. My first ones were puppy dogs and the others I have had all wanted to kill me. I guess you should spend time with them when they are small.

I had a big pair that where super tame. My second favourite python and so possibly my second favourite snake. There eye colour is amazing.

Thank you all! My new project is going to be taming the Macklots, or dying from the inevitable blood loss through my arms and knuckles, whichever comes first! Truly though, they are beautiful animals, and I would love to get a second one. What's the current going rate on them these days?
