Tadpole ID help.

Hi there,
Over the last three weeks i have noticed tadpoles growing on my pool cover, which has pools of water due to rain.
I have contacted a few conservation and frog groups to ID them but noone has been able to help. I now need to remove the pool cover but do not want to harm the poor things so i am gradually removing them and placing them into a large container and feeding them fish flakes.
I live in the Constantia Nova, Cape Town, Western Cape area and would love to know if they are a native species or an introduced species. Should i release them into a stream or keep them till they are older? There are at least 100 of them.
Any help to ID them and pount me in the right direction if possible would be appreciated.

Tadpoles are very difficult to identify even with pictures.

I do not know of any exotic introduced frog species in SA.

You can release them into your local pond, dam or Vlei.

I understand that Tadpoles are difficult to ID but maybe some from guys here could help, I found this guy in my Fish tank.. Nice mates I have.

If the frogs could make it all the way to your pool then the chances are good the local vlei will be suitable for them as soon as they are ready to go.

Looks like Clicking Stream Frog, they are native. You probably heard them after the rain.
