He looks so much better! Glad it is going so well. I would go small on the first feed, just in case. Good luck!

Thanks Westley!

There was no incision, the gunk was seeping out there on its own, he just helped squeeze it out. The vet says that he has had a case like this before with a gaboon viper, that had a stuck / unshedded fang that caused the venom gland infection. We looked for any on this little guy but found none.

I reckon it will take some TLC, a few months and a few sheds until its face looks normal again.

Thanks Snakesitter! I shall feed him a few pinkies at first, he is still quite small and usually gets fed fuzzies. Weighs 15g.
