New Jungle Carpet

New Jungle Carpet

Postby Tyronen » Tue Apr 22, 2014 7:22 am

I finally got myself a Jungle Carpet Python! After I first saw some hatchlings from Eugene over a year ago, I just had to have one! Soon to be a pair I think, because if one is awesome, two will be 2 x awesome! :D

Introducing my new little girl (Nov 2012 model), she was a bit angry about having her photo taken.

The colour change from hatchling>yearling>adult is just amazing.

Many Thx to Eugene for his help and showing me his stunning collection of Carpet Pythons when I collected!

Looks awesome man I love Jungle Jags and your one looks to have some nice colouration there. If I may ask, how much do they go for?

All the best with her Tyrone, I am sure she will calm down nicely over time but at least you know a bite is not too bad. :D

Newbe, this is just a normal Jungle, not a Jungle-Jag. Check my website for prices.

Thanks everyone! If you stand in the sun with her it’s amazing how the colours pop! I'm sure her colours will still get even better as she gets older.

@ Mitton – Thx! After the little nip you got, I can tell you my wife was less than excited about me having a Carpet Python lol! Yeah, it wasn’t too bad for a big one but certainly looked a little nasty :D

@Newbe - Prices of the Jungle's vary but if you want something really beautiful you'll have to pay more. It's best to see what the parents look like to give you an idea of how a baby will turn out. Mitton has some of the nicest Carpets I've seen.

Here is an updated picture of my female, she is soooo pretty :) I promise it's not photoshopped! This is just taken straight from my Cellphone after a fresh shed :)
